John A. Taylor, CEO and Executive in Charge of Lending Operations:
John Taylor began his real estate career in 2001 when he became a licensed loan officer at an independent San Francisco Bay Area broker, before obtaining his own broker’s license in 2005. Taylor formed, funded and managed several real estate acquisition and finance syndicates, with a combined $3M in assets under management. Since 2005 he has managed several mortgage pool funds, including NorCal Rehab Funding, LLC, Network Capital Fund, LLC and Residential Funding Solutions, LP, a $20M debt and equity financing fund. Mr. Taylor is a graduate of the University of Southern California (School of Journalism) and has held various sales and management positions in the entertainment and technology industries prior starting his real estate career.
Russell Roesner, Director of Investor Relations:
Mr. Roesner is an accomplished senior executive with 10 years of progressive Real Estate consulting experience providing strategic and organization change solutions to Real Estate securities and lending industry clients. As the Executive Vice President for Capital Alliance, a wholesale mortgage fund in San Francisco, Roesner restructured two Private Placement Debt Offerings and raised $50 million in investor capital through Broker Dealers, RIAs, and accredited investors. In addition, Russell trained the senior management team to package and sell investments through direct marketing programs and speaking engagements at national conferences to registered B/Ds, RIAs, pension plans, and accredited investors. Over 400 new investors were obtained through this process. Before joining NorCal Capital Management, Mr. Roesner implemented and applied project costing analysis for a Real Estate investment firm doing large scale condominium conversions. Other responsibilities included researching potential profitable markets, assisting fund manager in negotiating offers and guiding the firm to acquisitions of institutional, mezzanine, and equity debt for purchases.
Lucy Greene, Advisory Board Chairperson:
A 20-year veteran of the Real Estate finance industry, Lucy is the Managing Partner of Springer Solutions, LLC, a private lending fund for first phase real estate development projects. She invests across the U.S. and internationally in land, land development, rental properties and fix/flip rehabs. Lucy served as a Managing Member of NorCal Rehab Funding, LLC, and is currently Vice President of The Seeds Project, an umbrella 501c3, dedicated to humanitarian and environmental projects. Lucy Greene is a 1972 graduate of Johnston College in Redlands, California.
